The flagship superbike from Ducati, the 1199 Panigale, has been on the market since 2012. Since 2013, the smaller sister, Panigale 899, has also been causing a sensation. The Ducati 1199 Panigale replaces the Ducati 1198 SP. The completely newly designed 90-degree V2 engine from Ducati sets standards in twin-cylinder engine construction.

Many innovations were implemented with the Panigale, such as the extremely short-stroke design of the engine (Superquadro) or the completely self-supporting engine. The special model "Superleggera" sets a highlight with high-quality materials such as titanium, tungsten, magnesium, and carbon. The power of the Superleggera is specified at around 205 hp.

Since 2015, the Panigale 1299 has been the top dog. Thanks to the increase in displacement, it reaches nearly 200 hp and a torque of about 140 Nm.
