The all-round long-fork sports bike from BMW combines the dynamics of a superbike with the travel suitability and comfort of a touring motorcycle. The high-performance four-cylinder originally derived from the Superbike S 1000 RR has already been very successfully adapted and used for the BMW S 1000 R. Now, the 160 HP of this engine also drives the S 1000 XR to peak performance.

The equipment list of the crossover bike is very long and packed with the latest technical highlights such as semi-active suspension, cornering ABS, cruise control, shift assistance systems, Dynamic ESA, daytime running lights, and more.
Ilmberger Carbonparts Range
The carbon range from Ilmberger Carbonparts is particularly extensive here and comes with sophisticated and practical extras. For example, the hand protectors are significantly larger for better wind and weather protection, yet they still perfectly integrate into the appearance of the sport tourer. The front and rear wheel covers have also been designed significantly longer in the splash area compared to the original, so that splash and stone chip protection could be significantly increased. The upper chain cover was also integrated with the rear wheel cover.
The sporty engine spoiler perfectly fits into the image of the crossover bike and also conceals the view of the pre-silencer, which may appear somewhat unsightly over time. Overall, more than 10 kg of weight can be saved on the S 1000 XR through the consistent use of our carbon parts.
