DUCATI

Ducati Motor Holding

Experience the thrill of Italian engineering with Ducati, the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Italy, headquartered in the Bologna district of Borgo Panigale. As a proud subsidiary of Audi AG and an integral part of the Volkswagen Group, Ducati is synonymous with excellence and innovation. For decades, Ducati has been actively involved in motorcycle racing through its racing division "Ducati Corse." The cornerstone of its current racing endeavors is the MotoGP team in the MotoGP class of the Motorcycle World Championship, along with participation in the production-based Superbike World Championship, where Ducati sport motorcycles have consistently been strong contenders for titles and victories.

Ducati Owner Clubs (D.O.C.s)

The brand's fans have united worldwide in so-called D.O.C.s (Ducati Owner Clubs) to celebrate their camaraderie and connection with the Ducati brand. This is exemplified by the famous World Ducati Week (WDW), where Ducati annually invites all brand enthusiasts to Misano Adriatico. Due to the strong brand loyalty of most Ducati owners, the enthusiasm for customization and the willingness to personalize and individualize the exquisite pieces from Bologna is particularly pronounced.

With the brand Ducati, everything began at Ilmberger Carbon. When I applied for the A license for 1990 at the end of the 1989 season and bought a Ducati 888 Lucchinelli Replica for the 1990 season to compete in the Battle of Twin German Championship, I had to realize that there were practically no fairing parts available on the market for the Ducatis... That the then relatively small manufacturer would develop into such a globally operating company and could now even be taken over by the owner Audi AG into the Volkswagen Group, no one would have suspected back then.
